Position Overview

We build cutting-edge software to identify and analyze the exposure of companies, properties, and financial assets to climate change risks and opportunities. Our models cover policy, technology and physical risks and translate these into relevant metrics for global investors. It’s our goal to alert investors of the climate risk profiles of their investments and to tackle climate change at the roots. Our mission is a big one and we’re looking for talented people to join us.

We’re looking for a sharp, energetic and organized intern for a 6-month internship with a positive attitude who deeply cares about environmental issues, to join our Climate Risk Center team.

Location: Zurich or Geneva office

Your key responsibilities

• Work on software and data science projects related to climate risks including data analysis, statistical analysis and software development.
• Participate in the development of models and methodologies to conduct transition climate risk analysis for real estate.
• Work closely with other research team members, our development team members and other stakeholders.
  
  

Your knowledge and skills

• Currently enrolled in a M.Sc. (should be able to commit 6 months full time internship) or recently graduated in the field of Environmental Sciences/Engineering, finance, economics, or other relevant fields.
• Interest in research in the fields of climate sciences, climate policies, energy management, environment, or sustainability.
• Experience in data manipulation and software development, particularly with Python, Pandas and Numpy.
• Fluency in English (other languages - nice to have)
